Designed by Wilson Smith, the Nike Air More Uptempo shook up the world upon releasing in 1996. Worn by Scottie Pippen, the model is famously known for the embellished “AIR” branding on the lateral and medial sides. Here, we have the 2017 “Triple Black” colourway, a prime example of how a shoe’s initial purpose can evolve in later generations. (The Nike Air More Uptempo has evolved over time to become as viable a lifestyle option as it’s an athletic shoe.) It features a suede upper with reflective 3M panels on the “AIR” overlay and touches of the eye-catching material on the laces and heel tab.
